About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality railway signalling systems.
- Define and implement departmental guidelines, including team profiles and growth plans.
- Coach team members to develop expertise in Railway Signalling Systems Engineering.
- Set clear team goals, delegate tasks, and establish deadlines to meet QCD (quality, cost, delivery) commitments.
- Manage workload capacity in alignment with business strategies and report status to leadership.
- Act as the Work Package Owner for the full Signalling and Telecom Engineering team.
- Deploy global systems engineering processes, methods, and tools while driving continuous improvement.
- Estimate and validate activity quotations for tenders and projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific field.
- Hands-on experience in Signalling Systems Engineering.
- Strong background in project execution and management.
- Experience in project estimating and workload capacity management.
- Proficiency in English (full professional use).
- Experience working in multicultural and international environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- P. Eng Certification.
- Comprehensive understanding of governance models and balanced scorecards in a technical environment.
