About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality railway signalling systems.
  • Define and implement departmental guidelines, including team profiles and growth plans.
  • Coach team members to develop expertise in Railway Signalling Systems Engineering.
  • Set clear team goals, delegate tasks, and establish deadlines to meet QCD (quality, cost, delivery) commitments.
  • Manage workload capacity in alignment with business strategies and report status to leadership.
  • Act as the Work Package Owner for the full Signalling and Telecom Engineering team.
  • Deploy global systems engineering processes, methods, and tools while driving continuous improvement.
  • Estimate and validate activity quotations for tenders and projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific field.
  • Hands-on experience in Signalling Systems Engineering.
  • Strong background in project execution and management.
  • Experience in project estimating and workload capacity management.
  • Proficiency in English (full professional use).
  • Experience working in multicultural and international environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • P. Eng Certification.
  • Comprehensive understanding of governance models and balanced scorecards in a technical environment.
