About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end functional architecture of vehicle control systems
  • Develop logical and physical EE architecture in coordination with system engineers and domain experts
  • Manage system level definition and requirements from EE, SW, and ME
  • Act as an integral liaison between hardware, applications teams, and core cross-functional teams
  • Lead the development, integration, and validation of assigned vehicle control functions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders through the system "V" development process from concept to launch
  • Develop component and system design, functional specifications, and detailed test methods
  • Utilize model-based design and MBSE/MBD simulation toolsets (MIL/SIL/HIL)
  • Maintain design standards, test procedures, and technical specifications

Requirements

  • Master's degree in EE, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or SW Engineering
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • Extensive experience with Automotive Systems or Mechatronics products
  • Subject matter expertise in Systems Engineering and complex systems design
  • Familiarity with embedded systems software and EE systems (wiring, power distribution)
  • Proficiency with communication protocols including CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, and LVDS
  • Experience with vehicle network tools such as CANalyzer or CANoe
  • Expertise in complex problem solving and data analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MBSE/MBD simulation toolsets
  • Knowledge of MIL/SIL/HIL testing environments
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Codebeamer, Preevision, CAMEO, Github, and JFROG
