About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the "Provide Traction and Energy" function at the train level, ensuring seamless subsystem integration.
  • Perform transverse requirement allocations to various subsystems in collaboration with specialists.
  • Develop and manage system requirements and specifications based on standards, certifications, and customer needs.
  • Define HV architecture, operational modes, and functionalities.
  • Write subsystem specifications and architecture descriptions.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including technical purchasing specifications and design reviews.
  • Define and execute train verification strategies and prepare train-level test specifications.
  • Resolve technical issues during train revenue service and contribute to continuous improvement through Return of Experience.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (specialization in Automotive Engineering preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in Diesel system integration and system engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of subsystem integration and validation processes.
  • Familiarity with supplier management and technical purchasing specifications.
  • Proficiency in English (French language skills are a plus).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in heavy-duty diesel systems engineering, peripheral systems, and auxiliary power integrations (Railway, Marine, or Heavy Construction experience).
  • Certification in project management or a relevant technical specialization.
