About the role
Responsibilities
- Understand client needs and propose safe, high-performance, and optimized technical solutions.
- Define specifications covering interfaces, performance, reliability, and environmental requirements.
- Adapt existing product architectures to meet new requirements and decompose systems into sub-assemblies and interfaces.
- Coordinate with electronic and software development teams to evaluate technical risks regarding safety, cybersecurity, and RAM.
- Support product integration, validation, and laboratory or site testing.
- Manage development through evolution and configuration management.
- Write technical manuals and provide support to users and deployment teams.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in system design, validation, or safety-critical systems.
- Experience in the transport sector or working with critical electronic systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to technical challenges.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and requirements management.
- Knowledge of railway signaling systems.
- Multi-disciplinary knowledge in real-time constraints, electronics, software, and networks.
