System Engineer, Infotainment Systems

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end functional architecture of assigned infotainment systems
• Define and manage system and subsystem requirements
• Develop logical and physical EE architecture in coordination with domain experts
• Act as an integral liaison between hardware, applications teams, and core CFTs
• Lead the development, integration, and validation of infotainment functions according to project timelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders through system “V” development from concept to launch
• Develop component and system design, functional specifications, and detailed test methods
• Use model-based design and MBSE/MBD simulation toolsets (MIL/SIL/HIL)
• Maintain design standards, test procedures, and technical specifications

Requirements

• Masters in EE, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or SW Engineering
• 10+ years of professional experience
• Extensive experience with Automotive Systems or Mechatronics Products (Body, Infotainment, Drive, or Energy)
• Subject matter expertise in Systems Engineering and complex systems design
• Familiarity with embedded systems software and EE systems (wiring, power distribution)
• Knowledge of communication protocols: A2B, CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, and LVDS
• Proficiency with vehicle network tools like CANalyzer or CANoe
• Experience with toolsets such as JIRA, Confluence, Codebeamer, Preevision, CAMEO, Github, or JFROG
