System Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Build and implement daily operations plans using complex software and hardware systems
• Monitor day-to-day activities and apply technical knowledge of hardware subsystems
• Document discrepancies and implement workarounds or contingency plans to minimize system anomalies
• Contribute to the testing, readiness, training, and implementation of new ground software deliveries
• Support test activities and assist with the training of other personnel on the contract team
• Maintain availability for overtime and non-scheduled call-ins within a 24/7 operations environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience
• Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance required prior to start date
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working a rotating shift schedule
• Proficiency with both Windows and UNIX platforms
• Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or VBA
• Experience working in a virtual team environment
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
