About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the technical blueprint for complex automotive software and systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and customer specifications.
- Develop and maintain system architecture, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.
- Define and execute validation plans to ensure systems meet performance, safety, and quality standards.
- Identify and translate customer needs into detailed system-level specifications.
- Integrate various system components and troubleshoot technical issues during development and testing.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system design, validation results, and problem-solving activities.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of software and system architecture, embedded systems, vehicle EE architecture, and communication protocols.
- Experience with Automotive Systems Engineering, including System Modelling Language (SysML) 1.5.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools such as DOORS, DOORS Next Generation, or IBM ELM (DNG, RTC).
- Knowledge of automotive process models, including Automotive SPICE, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity.
- Advanced understanding of Machine Learning SW/HW architectures and Mobile Wireless Technology (WiFi, 5G, Bluetooth, etc.).
- Experience with automotive infotainment, ADAS, or digital cockpit systems.
- Fluency in both English and Japanese.
- Ability to travel up to 10% for domestic and international business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an agile development environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
- Familiarity with Central Compute Unit (CCU) technologies.
