System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct process evaluations of corporate enterprise applications to identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Government leadership to implement process improvement initiatives
• Facilitate the adoption of agile and DevOps practices within the program
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, process standards, and best practice guides
• Identify potential system risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance team technical skills
• Participate in incident response and problem-solving to minimize downtime
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior system engineers

Requirements

• 14 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs of similar scope and complexity
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 5 years of additional SE experience in lieu of degree)
• Experience in a team lead role managing diverse skillsets
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Experience with requirements management and defining "definition of done"
• TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with project leadership and communicating with Government leadership
• Ability to develop and update technical documentation including project schedules
• Willingness to learn and develop understanding of new technologies
