System Engineer Eurofighter Avionics

Responsibilities

• Support daily flight operations for the German and Austrian Air Forces by troubleshooting aircraft issues
• Perform hardware and software modernizations for Eurofighter avionics systems
• Act as a primary point of contact for customers, including the German Air Force, BAAINBw, and international partners
• Coordinate technical and logistical problem analyses
• Plan, execute, and evaluate national and international testing campaigns and exercises
• Adapt technical documentation and develop high-quality training measures for engineers and pilots

Requirements

• Master or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Extensive experience working with complex, networked electronic systems
• Experience in software development programs and integration testing at the subsystem and system levels
• Knowledge of Test Support Tools
• Fluent in both German and English (including technical English)
• Structured, analytical way of working and a strong interest in teamwork

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the operational use of the Eurofighter weapon system or Bundeswehr logistics
• Knowledge of Eurofighter certification processes and defense-specific documentation requirements
