System Developer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for underlying software layers connecting vehicle back-end with the User Interface
• Design, implement, and maintain backend software and frameworks
• Develop and maintain inter-process-communication
• Develop rapid prototypes of novel interaction concepts
• Debug and optimize performance of production code
• Write documentation and tests for code
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams of designers, hardware engineers, and software engineers

Requirements

• Software development experience in C++ and C#
• Experience developing products in UNIX environments and embedded systems
• Experience with software project management and agile methodology
• Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Embedded Software, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science
• 5+ years of professional work experience
• Proven record of innovation through patents, papers, or products

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive industry experience
