System Designer for Shared Resources Avionic Platform

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical design and definition of future generation Integrated Modular Avionic (IMA) computers for next-generation aircraft architectures.
• Support advanced platform studies, including TRL reviews and de-risking activities for emerging architectures like RISC-V and multicore processing.
• Define high-level requirements for core processing perimeters, focusing on hardware virtualization and ARINC 653 RTOS interfaces.
• Act as the technical counterpart for potential suppliers during research and pre-development phases.
• Ensure early-stage designs meet safety-critical certification standards, including ARP4754, DO-254, and DO-178C (DAL-A).
• Nurture technical dossiers required for the launch of full-scale development.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Electronics, Hardware, Software, or Systems Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of modern avionics platform architectures.
• Familiarity with hardware and software development constraints within a safety-critical context.
• Working knowledge of industry standards: DO-178, DO-254, and ARP4754.
• Understanding of ARINC 653 concepts and commercial Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Excellent technical writing skills in English and strong stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to maintain a "system-level" mindset when defining module requirements.
