About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end development, integration, qualification, and certification of Communication Systems following the V-cycle process
- Elaborate operational concepts, use cases, and system specifications through requirements engineering
- Oversee the mechanical, electrical, and functional integration of communication systems
- Define integration, verification, and validation strategies, including support for rig, ground, and flight testing
- Perform supplier management to secure technical requirements of development contracts
- Manage stakeholders across project management, procurement, and sales departments
- Benchmark state-of-the-art communication technologies and contribute to product strategy and implementation roadmaps
- Represent the company in external working groups such as EASA, FAA, or EUROCAE
Requirements
- Academic degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Comprehensive understanding and application of Systems Engineering methodologies
- Proven experience in the design, development, and integration of complex communication systems
- Expertise in avionics requirements engineering and systems integration
- Experience in supplier management and stakeholder coordination
- Business fluency in English; knowledge of German, French, or Spanish is an advantage
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearance
