System Design Intern

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the company's Design System, including UI components, style libraries, templates, and guidelines
• Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure consistent implementation of designs
• Collect and analyze user and stakeholder needs to inform and improve the Design System
• Perform user testing and UX research to validate concepts and design iterations
• Document Design System processes, standards, and best practices
• Help train and guide internal teams on the use of the Design System
• Stay up to date with trends and best practices in UX/UI design and systems design

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution
• Bachelor's degree in UX design (or currently pursuing)
• Portfolio demonstrating strong knowledge of UX and UI design
• Proficiency in design and prototype tools such as Figma or Adobe
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and accessibility
• Authorization to work in Canada
• Availability for 35 hours per week from September 8 to December 18, 2026
