System CAD Operator

Responsibilities

• Produce and update CAD drawings and BIM models based on engineering inputs and installation requirements
• Analyze design and installation drawings received from civil work partners
• Ensure the proper integration of subsystem equipment within the infrastructure
• Participate in internal design coordination activities, including clash detection and volume clearance verification
• Apply BIM Execution Plans and CAD manual instructions when producing drawings and reviewing models
• Ensure proper use of the project CDE environment and compliance with document codification rules
• Support the civil interface and BIM manager in preparing and verifying technical deliverables
• Collaborate with other modeling teams to ensure consistency between system and civil works models

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in CAD design or a similar role
• Experience or understanding of railway systems, civil infrastructure, or related industries
• Proficiency in CAD software and BIM tools
• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans and CAD standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Certification in CAD or BIM software
