System Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform safety and security assurance activities (RAMS)
• Manage lifecycle safety and security studies to ensure compliance
• Maintain the System Safety Assurance Plan and manage safety/security documentation
• Apply risk, safety, and security assurance methodologies
• Assist in or lead the development of PHA, FMECA, FTA, IHA, TVA, and OSHA
• Support system and software certifications and the production of Safety Cases
• Manage safety-critical component control plans and implement safety tests
• Coordinate interfaces and support the closure of findings

Requirements

• Technical basis in engineering from academic and professional experience
• Minimum of 5 years in a Systems Engineering, Systems Assurance, or RAMS environment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for client and contractor collaboration
• Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work with multidisciplinary professional groups
• Must be available to work in the United States immediately without visa sponsorship
• Ability to report regularly to corporate or project site offices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in rail transit and familiarity with CENELEC standards
• Experience with requirements development tools such as DOORS
• Experience with the complete project life-cycle from design to commissioning
• Experience working with AI agents and tools
