About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-grade applications, focusing on scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
- Design and support the development of technology systems that meet business needs, emphasizing platform operations and reliability.
- Develop and maintain System Architecture models, including System Interaction diagrams and physical reference architecture diagrams.
- Manage the product lifecycle, including roadmap planning, upgrades, and retirements.
- Evaluate and guide the selection of new technologies to meet evolving business requirements.
- Verify the stability, interoperability, portability, security, and scalability of system architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
- Strong expertise with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure.
- Proven experience designing microservices, serverless architectures, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET, and front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Experience with authentication and authorization using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
- Strong understanding of SQL Server database design and optimization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Python and a willingness to upskill.
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
