System Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-grade applications, focusing on scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
• Design and support the development of technology systems that meet business needs, emphasizing platform operations and reliability.
• Develop and maintain System Architecture models, including System Interaction diagrams and physical reference architecture diagrams.
• Manage the product lifecycle, including roadmap planning, upgrades, and retirements.
• Evaluate and guide the selection of new technologies to meet evolving business requirements.
• Verify the stability, interoperability, portability, security, and scalability of system architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Strong expertise with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience designing microservices, serverless architectures, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET, and front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience with authentication and authorization using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
• Strong understanding of SQL Server database design and optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Python and a willingness to upskill.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
