System Architect

Responsibilities

• Design the ERTMS Driver Machine Interface (DMI) to ensure software meets functional, safety, and availability targets
• Lead system design and specifications, including conceptual design and integration of end-users
• Manage system specifications through requirements writing and traceability
• Support Engineering Managers in identifying technical risks and defining development strategies
• Lead and participate in technical reviews and decision-making processes
• Interface with System Application Architects for project and tender activities
• Prepare program and project documentation, such as training materials and user manuals
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and workload estimations for design deliverables

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in system métier (project or program)
• Comprehensive experience in HMI/DMI development
• Expertise in System Engineering principles
• Knowledge of design for safety and RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) compliance
• Understanding of design for quality life cycle
• Proficiency in English communication
• Ability to work transversally with global engineering teams
