System Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform Oracle EBS Applications database administration tasks including patching, upgrading, and performance tuning.
• Maintain multi-node e-Business Suite environments, managing Concurrent Managers, Request Sets, and Workflows.
• Utilize Oracle RAC, ASM, and CRS to ensure database performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard.
• Monitor system status proactively using Oracle Application Manager (OAM) and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Grid Control.
• Develop and enforce database policies, standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for high availability and security.
• Automate tasks using PL/SQL, shell, and Perl scripting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Apps DBA roles.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 administration, including installation, configuration, cloning, and upgrades.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c database administration.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and CRS in a Linux operating system.
• Proficiency in RMAN and Data Guard for backup and disaster recovery.
• Strong skills in PL/SQL, shell, and Perl scripting for automation.
• Excellent written communication skills for developing technical documentation and SOPs.
