System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Perform software installation and operating system upgrades
• Monitor and tune cloud environments and systems for optimal performance
• Maintain regular system backups and perform data restoration
• Apply security and vulnerability best practices within the software development life cycle
• Manage system hardware, software licenses, and maintenance agreements
• Prepare monthly audit and performance reports for the government
• Maintain Security Technical Information Guide (STIG) checklists
• Assist in testing contingency plans for business continuity

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• IAT II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GSEC, or SSCP)
• 3 years of paid experience in system administration
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems and servers
• Knowledge of NIST controls and information assurance frameworks
• Strong technical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology
