System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Provide system administration solutions to meet required capabilities
• Create bills of materials, network designs, diagrams, and documentation for new and updated installations
• Work with network, storage, and server personnel to define solutions to complex problems
• Respond to requests for new systems to meet capacity and user requirements
• Determine required power, space, cooling, and funding for system goals
• Configure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems
• Manage virtual servers through VMWare and similar hypervisor products
• Optimize system operation and resource utilization

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 5 years of System Administrator experience (or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree)
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level I or higher
• 1+ year of experience in modern operating systems and network architectures
• 1+ year of experience in certification and accreditation, architecture design, and Risk Assessments
