System Administrator, Senior Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain secure, cost-efficient IT infrastructure and system health in a classified environment.
• Support systems that are operational 24x7, including after-hours call-in responsibility.
• Collaborate with program developers and system engineers to research issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions.
• Serve as a help desk team member in a customer-facing environment, providing effective communication and technical support.
• Work under pressure to restore high-priority systems to operational status.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance.
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, or CND).
• Experience with VMWare or Linux Systems Administration.
• Experience with Veritas tape libraries and/or Hitachi VSPs.
• Experience configuring domain information utilities such as Active Directory, Centrify, LDAP, or DNS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to navigate, debug, and modify programs in an advanced programming language.
• Experience with storage products from Oracle, Dell/EMC (e.g., Isilon/PowerScale), or NetApp.
• Experience presenting technical information to customers, clients, or internal audiences.
• Strong background in troubleshooting and debugging applications.
• Thorough understanding of operating system concepts such as swapping, paging, and inter-process communication.
