System Administrator, Senior Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain system health and security posture in a classified environment
• Support 24/7 operational capabilities with 8x5 schedule and after-hours call-in responsibility
• Collaborate with program developers and system engineers to research issues and implement solutions
• Serve as a help desk team member in a customer-facing environment
• Perform root cause analysis for system problems to ensure mission-critical capabilities

Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with Poly security clearance
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GSEC, or SSCP)
• Experience in VMware or Linux Systems Administration
• Experience configuring domain information utilities such as Active Directory, LDAP, or DNS
• Experience with Veritas tape libraries and/or Hitachi VSPs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with storage products from Oracle, Dell/EMC, or NetApp
• Ability to navigate, debug, and modify programs in an advanced programming language
• Strong background in troubleshooting and debugging applications under pressure
• Thorough understanding of operating system concepts like inter-process communication and device drivers
• Experience presenting technical information to customers and internal audiences
