About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor ticket queues and IM channels to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Manage and maintain large-scale global systems for building management and physical security operations
- Accurately record ticket metadata, including category, type, item, and outage resolution times
- Resolve troubleshooting tickets from internal and third-party teams, engaging other departments as necessary
- Maintain professional relationships with third-party vendors in compliance with client codes of conduct
- Provide out-of-hours support for scheduled upgrades and 24/7 on-call support for critical system outages
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) and 2 to 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven experience building and managing various servers
- Experience with networking management, configurations, and changes
- Strong skills in systems and networking troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement fixes
- Proficiency with ticket systems and following established procedural workflows
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation and scripting
