System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems supporting critical enterprise applications
• Manage IT system infrastructure to ensure availability, reliability, security, and performance
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for client systems, servers, storage, and network devices
• Configure and maintain Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems
• Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure modernization and DevOps practices
• Develop technical documentation and standard operating procedures

Requirements

• Active security clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of system administrator experience (or 15 years experience in lieu of degree)
• In-depth Linux experience
• Proficiency with PowerShell and Bash scripting
• Experience with system hardening and working with ISSOs for compliance
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I
• Ability to work core hours of 10AM-2PM Monday-Friday

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible or Terraform
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with vulnerability remediation and STIG implementation
• Experience supporting ATO processes and RMF activities
