System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain government accredited information systems across ENSCO facilities
• Manage system patching using WSUS and ensure routine deployment of security updates and antivirus signatures
• Respond to user reported issues through timely troubleshooting and remediation
• Coordinate with ISSM and ISSOs to implement corrective actions for security findings
• Review, import, and apply updated DISA STIGs and associated GPOs
• Manage user accounts for authorized systems in accordance with established guidance
• Conduct patch validation and compatibility testing on designated test platforms
• Serve as an administrator for designated government networks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3+ years related experience
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+)
• Experience administering Windows and Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of account management, access control, auditing, and DISA STIG compliance
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating systems in secure environments
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
• U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and utilizing a test lab for proactive updates
• Experience with RMF and USG guidelines for backup and recovery
• CompTIA Server+ certification
• Red Hat System Administrator Certification
• Linux Administrator Certification
• DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification
