System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Information Technology tools and solutions to support operational requirements
• Create, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot automation scripts using BASH, Perl, JavaScript, Python, PowerCLI, or PowerShell
• Maintain detailed documentation for system designs, configurations, processes, and service records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects
• Lead and mentor junior team members in best practices and technical challenges
• Analyze development and implementation requirements to modify existing systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in ComSci, CIS, InfoSec, IT, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of Information Security or IT work experience
• Proficiency with Active Directory, GPOs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and Server Administration
• Experience with Ansible, Server Clustering, and Virtualization
• Ability to manage disaster recovery and backup strategies using hybrid cloud solutions like CommVault Metallic
• Experience with OS updates, security patches, and software deployment in physical and virtual environments
• Knowledge of security hardening frameworks including CIS, NIST 800-53, and DISA STIGs
• Ability to participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
• VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV)
