About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line technical support for internal users via Jira Service Desk, Slack, or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, peripherals, network access, and macOS operating systems.
- Configure and install laptops, desktop systems, printers, mobile devices, CCTV, and meeting room equipment.
- Maintain daily IT system health, including updates, patches, and performance checks.
- Manage IT asset inventory and lifecycle management using Jira Assets.
- Manage and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi networks, and VPN access.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment provisioning and system access setup.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and knowledge base articles in Confluence.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical support or system administration role.
- Proficiency with macOS systems (Windows knowledge is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of IT support tools and ticketing systems such as Jira.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work on-site in Lisbon, Portugal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MDM systems for Apple devices (e.g., Jamf).
- Hands-on experience with MikroTik and Ubiquiti network devices.
- Familiarity with AV/meeting room equipment like Logitech or Crestron.
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
- Knowledge of CCTV and access control systems.
- Understanding of ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
