About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage IT operations jobs, including End of Day and Start of Day processes, via Control-M
  • Handle Control-M application software installation, configuration, deployment, and upgrades
  • Automate operations using scripting in various platforms and languages such as PowerShell and Bash
  • Install and manage Control-M modules for backups, OS, databases, and applications
  • Maintain Control-M infrastructure across Windows, Unix, and Linux environments
  • Ensure high availability and process resiliency for all Control-M components
  • Document all procedures and configuration tasks, including contingency plans for manual execution
  • Monitor alerts to ensure 24/7 service availability and coordinate patch/vulnerability management
  • Support Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity testing activities
  • Work in rotating 8-hour shifts to support continuous operations

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of IT Operations experience with Unix/Linux and Windows System Administration
  • 2+ years of programming experience with proficiency in Unix Shell (Korn, C, Bash)
  • Solid experience working as a Control-M Scheduler in a distributed environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field
  • Knowledge of Oracle/SQL databases
  • Experience with Hybrid Cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
  • Experience in financial services or fast-paced, 24/7 regulated organizations

Preferred Qualifications

  • IT certifications such as ITIL or PMP
  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports or other tools for generating customized operational reports
  • Experience in Data Center Operations, including incident handling and escalation
