SysAdmin Specialist Cybersecurity

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain server and network infrastructure
• Configure and support network and security components
• Manage and monitor firewalls, load balancers, and network services
• Implement security controls and operating system hardening
• Administer Windows Server and Linux RedHat environments
• Execute automation and scripting tasks for system administration
• Manage virtualization using VMware platforms
• Participate in patching, maintenance, and infrastructure update activities
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on protection and compliance initiatives
• Ensure operational continuity and availability of critical services

Requirements

• Solid experience in networking and security (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Load Balancing)
• Proficiency in operating system administration (Windows Server, Linux RedHat)
• Knowledge of process administration, file system management, and patching
• Experience with VMware virtualization
• Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Security expertise in OS Hardening, Active Directory, Kerberos, and PKI
