Synthetics Supply Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead reaction step scale-up in up to 100 L reactor trains under Lab Manager supervision
• Manage equipment maintenance, cleaning, and qualification processes
• Create batch records for GLP/GMP manufacturing campaigns
• Manage manufacturing timelines and support overall facility operational needs
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including chemists, formulation scientists, engineers, and Quality departments

Requirements

• Master’s degree OR Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of Engineering experience OR Associate’s degree with 6 years of Engineering experience OR High school diploma/GED with 8 years of Engineering experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP)

Preferred Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemical Engineering or a related life science field
• Previous industrial experience in a GMP chemical manufacturing environment
• In-depth knowledge of unit operations such as granulation, milling, blending, and compression
• Experience with laboratory automation and data logging platforms like Delta V
• Familiarity with safe chemical handling and the use of chemical respirators
