Sync Licensing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of TV/Film music clearances from beginning to end
• Negotiate deal terms between clients, artists, and labels efficiently
• Manage and update deal terms, track correspondence, and deliver music files using internal systems
• Pitch Sony’s music to music supervisors, clearance executives, networks, and studios
• Respond to specific music searches and proactively pitch catalog assets
• Contribute data and ideas to meetings with artists, managers, and marketing teams
• Assist with artist performances and presentations such as showcases

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant music licensing experience (e.g., record label, publisher, studio, or production library)
• Thorough knowledge of music licensing terminology and industry best practices
• Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and follow through to completion
