Switchgear Installer

Responsibilities

• Assist installation supervisor with switchgear installations, off-loading, and installing busbars/bus wiring
• Test and inspect the quality of switchgear assembly and components
• Integrate, assemble, and modify switchgear assemblies
• Supervise others performing assembly activities
• Perform repairs and function testing on switchgear
• Conduct internal wiring, integration, and testing duties
• Comply with site rules, PPE requirements, and H&S regulations

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Proven track record in electrical engineering
• Strong engineering and testing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Valid Driving Licence
• Ability to travel at short notice, including long distances
• Willingness to work overtime and away from home Monday – Friday

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Ability to communicate with clients at all levels
• Strong awareness of site Health & Safety regulations
