Responsibilities

  • Champion a Safety-First culture at all times
  • Review production orders and schedules to plan assembly operations and establish priorities
  • Prepare assembly schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet specifications
  • Inspect equipment to ensure operational performance and optimize utilization
  • Analyze electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Track labor hours and production output while holding team members accountable
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide mentorship on wiring techniques and UL compliance
  • Coordinate with Lead personnel to ensure seamless transitions between assembly phases
  • Provide inter-departmental communication regarding testing, qualification, and shipping

Requirements

  • Electrical Technology degree or Journey-level experience
  • 5+ years in electrical manufacturing or switchgear assembly
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • 2–3 years hands-on Epicor ERP (Kinetic or V10) experience
  • Strong knowledge of Low/Medium Voltage switchgear construction and UL standards
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprints
  • Familiarity with busbar fabrication, electrical clearances, and calibrated torque tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate large enclosures
