Swimming Pool Service Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform spring openings and fall winterizations of residential swimming pools
• Conduct advanced water testing and chemical balancing
• Diagnose, repair, and replace swimming pool equipment
• Install safety pool covers per manufacturer guidelines
• Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding service needs and recommendations
• Promote and sell pool equipment upgrades, chemicals, and maintenance services
• Document all services performed, including service notes, chemicals used, and job-site photos
• Safely handle, transport, and apply pool chemicals
• Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and inventory control

Requirements

• At least 1 year of applicable pool technician experience
• Proven experience with water chemistry
• Valid driver’s license
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds independently
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak season
• Willingness to travel 90-100%

Preferred Qualifications

• NESPA CMS & CMT certifications
• CPO certification
• High School Diploma or GED
