Swimming Pool Service Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform general pool maintenance including vacuuming, brushing, skimming, and water testing
• Assist senior technicians with equipment repairs, leak detection, and plumbing support
• Safely handle, transport, and apply pool chemicals according to safety procedures
• Load, unload, and organize service vehicles and track inventory
• Complete accurate documentation of services, chemicals used, and job-site photos
• Interact with customers to explain basic pool care and promote equipment upgrades

Requirements

• General pool background experience required
• Valid driver's license in state of residence
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds independently
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak season
• Must be equipped with standard tools for pool service repairs

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or pool service/repair
