Swimming Pool Service Technician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with swimming pool cleanings, water testing, and the removal and installation of pool covers and equipment
• Support Service Technicians with basic pool and equipment repairs, including leak detection and plumbing assistance
• Load, unload, and organize service vehicles for daily routes
• Safely handle and apply pool chemicals including chlorine, algaecides, and pH balancers
• Interact with customers to answer basic questions regarding maintenance and equipment operation
• Utilize the Work Order platform for accurate service documentation

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Some technical experience preferred (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or pool service)
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak season
• Strong communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled trade such as plumbing or electrical work
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle
