Requirements
Teach swimming to children and/or adults per qualifications, Communicate with parents/guardians on progress, Supervise customers in pool and surrounds, Ensure safety and discipline, Excellent communication skills, Ability to work with children and parents, DBS check required, Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification desirable, Welsh language skills desirable
About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver swimming lessons to children and adults of all abilities as part of the leisure centre programme
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding children's development and progression
- Assist with supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounding areas
- Ensure customer safety and discipline in the pool environment
Requirements
- Ability to teach swimming according to qualifications, training and experience
- Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers
- Ability to assist with children and their parents
- DBS check required
- Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification desirable
- Welsh language skills desirable
