About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and structured swim lessons to youth and adults
- Plan and organize class time to maximize skill development and success
- Maintain records related to class content and participant progression
- Provide feedback to students and parents regarding swimming progress
- Assist with patron safety to prevent emergencies
- Administer First Aid, CPR, or AED if required
- Prepare spaces and equipment for swim lessons
- Collaborate with lifeguards, facility staff, and management
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of swimming techniques
- Understanding of different learning styles for various age groups
- Ability to arrive promptly and prepared for scheduled sessions
