About the role
Responsibilities
- Instruct swim lesson participants
- Maintain the safety of participants in and around the class
- Plan swimming lessons based on student abilities and progressive development
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
- Complete attendance, progress, and accident reports
- Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- WSI certification or competitive swimming background
- Current Lifeguard certification
- Proven experience as a Swim Instructor
- Knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety rules
- Availability after school hours during the week and Saturday/Sunday mornings
