Swim Camp Instructor

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily execution of the LIU Brooklyn Summer Swim Camp
• Instruct campers on various swimming techniques and essential skills
• Incorporate engaging mini-games and lessons into the curriculum
• Supervise the swimming pool and campers at all times to ensure safety
• Maintain an understanding of facility characteristics, rules, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher
• Proven swimming experience
• Thorough knowledge and application of lifeguard surveillance and rescue techniques
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Availability to work 7 weeks (July 6th – August 28th) from 8am-3pm, Monday-Friday

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in swimming camp management or coaching
