Swap Operations - Client Onboarding, Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Review and address trade exceptions daily to ensure compliance with Dodd Frank regulations (EBC, Swap Doc, QFC Stay, Variation Margin, and Initial Margin).
• Analyze client documentation, including ISDA and CSA, via the Markit Website to verify required materials and protocol questionnaires.
• Set up accounts, funds, and investment managers in internal systems ensuring compliance with FDIC, Dodd Frank, EMIR, and Volcker requirements.
• Track, monitor, and proactively resolve potential trade monitoring or regulatory account setup issues and delays.
• Maintain static data across multiple platforms and manage strong working relationships with internal stakeholders including Sales, Trading, Credit, Legal, and Operations.
• Prepare process-related SOPs and Job Aids and provide training to team members.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Client Onboarding, Regulatory Onboarding, or Regulatory Static Set-up.
• Strong knowledge of Dodd Frank and EMIR regulations.
• M.Com or MBA in Finance.
• Ability to work evening/night shifts (5 PM to 3 AM IST).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of KYC, ISDA, CSA, EBC, Swap Doc, Port Rec, Variation Margin, Initial Margin, and ISDA Stay Requirements.
• Familiarity with MiFID regulations.
• Experience with Markit Website and trade monitoring tools.
