SVP-Technology & AI Risk Management

Responsibilities

• Establish and evolve the enterprise technology and AI risk management strategy, frameworks, and governance operations.
• Provide independent second-line oversight and challenge across cybersecurity, IT operations, data risk, and IT resilience.
• Oversee AI risk governance throughout the full lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Partner with the CISO, CTO, and AI leadership to embed risk-by-design principles into technology programs.
• Lead the identification, escalation, and remediation of technology and data risk issues.
• Deliver decision-oriented reporting to senior leadership, governance forums, and regulatory bodies.
• Build and lead a high-performing global technology and AI risk team.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in technology risk and AI governance within a complex global organization.
• Deep technical knowledge of technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT resilience, and AI/ML systems.
• Proven experience in second-line risk management and designing enterprise risk frameworks.
• Strong track record of influencing senior technology and cybersecurity leaders.
• Ability to synthesize complex risks into clear communications for executives and regulators.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Risk Management, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or MS.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISSP, ISO 42001, or NIST AI RMF).
• Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries.
