SVP, Regulatory Issue Remediation Oversight Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide centralized oversight for regulatory issues management, performing oversight through the life cycle of MRAs and Regulatory Observations
• Act as an individual contributor to solve complex problems and implement enterprise-wide solutions
• Manage and prioritize activities to improve efficiencies and drive continuous improvement in regulatory issue closure
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, Compliance, and Risk Management to ensure independent validation of deliverables
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure remediation efforts address the root causes and the spirit of regulatory feedback
• Assess risk in business decisions to safeguard the firm's reputation and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Support required management reporting and governance committee activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of professional experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience within the financial services industry
• Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
• Established track record of managing competing priorities with accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct experience in Internal Audit, Risk, or Control functions at Citi
• Experience interacting with Internal Audit, Compliance Testing, and External Regulators
• Proficiency with iCAPS/Citi’s Risk and Control platform and SharePoint
