SVP/Regional Manager Commercial Banking

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Regional Commercial Banking Operation, including non-consumer loans, deposits, and Treasury Services.
• Establish strategic plans for the region and communicate financial performance measures to staff.
• Supervise, coach, and recruit commercial banking professionals, including Market Managers and Relationship Managers.
• Achieve budgeted revenue growth and manage key performance indicators as established by executive leadership.
• Implement and maintain personal and team calling programs to acquire, retain, and expand customer relationships.
• Facilitate regular pipeline meetings to manage workflow through the loan origination process, including underwriting and closing.
• Ensure adherence to credit policies, procedures, and regional compliance programs.
• Represent the company in the community through professional and civic involvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience within the financial services or banking industry.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial relationship management.
• Strong understanding of loan origination, underwriting, documentation, and Treasury Services.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver professional presentations.
• Ability to travel as needed, including occasional overnight travel.
