Responsibilities

• Build and evolve commercial propositions for existing clients to maximize growth and profitability
• Manage pricing of team structures, solutions, and trading mixes
• Liaise with client legal and procurement teams during contract drafting and review
• Act as a strategic business partner to Agency Client Presidents, providing commercial and financial support
• Set annual net sales targets and track performance against targets
• Drive commercial innovation and pitch new commercial offers to targeted clients
• Partner with FP&A to maintain accurate rolling forecasts and manage material variances
• Monitor and escalate client working capital related balances
• Negotiate and manage payment terms to the commercial advantage of WPP
• Scrutinize client profitability reporting and take actions to optimize client performance
• Line manage the commercial finance team, including performance reviews and personal development

Requirements

• Commercial Finance & Pricing expertise, ideally within a media environment
• Experience in contract negotiation and working capital management
• Proven senior stakeholder management and commercial partnering skills
• Strong people management and leadership experience
• Previous media agency experience
