Sv. Financial Planning & Steering

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial discipline, transparency, and performance management aligned with corporate objectives regarding gross profit, contribution margin, and cost of retail.
• Lead financial planning, analysis, and steering activities for BMW, MINI, and Motorrad divisions in Mexico.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive financial insights and optimize controlling processes.
• Align financial plans and reporting standards with regional and global controlling teams.
• Support month-end and quarterly closing routines, including provisions, to support Accounting in submitting financial statements according to BMW AG standards.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts within the financial planning and controlling functions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning, controlling, or related finance functions.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams or complex projects.
• Demonstrated track record in managing complex budgeting and forecasting cycles and driving process improvements.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence commercial areas and work with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of the German language is considered a strong advantage.
