Sustainment Software Engineer 1

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and system flow
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Investigate and analyze system and user problems to identify potential solutions or fixes
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Develop, modify, and implement algorithms to address system performance or functional issues
• Write or review software and system documentation
• Modify existing software to correct errors or adapt to new hardware

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or 4 years additional software development experience)
• Three years of experience in software development/engineering in similar programs
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript
• IBM Sterling/FEB (Forms Experience Builder) experience is desired
