Sustaining Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Support engineers in conducting manual sample ATE testing and ensure accurate test execution
• Operate production testers and provide remote debugging support to engineering teams
• Perform monthly routine tester calibration and maintain optimal tester conditions
• Compile test data accurately and provide comprehensive data analysis using Excel
• Manage and calibrate lab equipment according to established protocols and standards
• Troubleshoot and debug testers, and perform load board repairs as needed
• Support engineers in lab bench validation activities and document findings transparently
• Maintain detailed technical records and ensure organized documentation of all testing activities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Technician handling testers or manufacturing equipment
• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Physics, Computer Science, or related field)
• Proficiency in tester operation (experience with ETS, FLEX, 93K, Cohu, or SPEA is highly valued)
• Ability to work evening shift schedules consistently and reliably
• Proficiency in Excel for data compilation and analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in tester and load board repair and troubleshooting
• Experience in load/test board soldering techniques
• Knowledge of technical documentation and record-keeping best practices
• Familiarity with remote debugging and support procedures
