Sustaining Engineer Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Plan, staff, and develop the Sustaining Engineering department to improve product delivery, BOM accuracy, and manufacturing efficiency
• Supervise and direct the daily work priorities of a team including Sustaining Engineers, a Sr. Designer, and a Compliance and Regulatory Engineer
• Manage and prioritize Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Product Improvement, and Value Engineering processes
• Identify and define paths for product redesigns driven by cost reduction, revised standards, or product improvement
• Oversee impacts to BOM, drawings, operations, and marketing to ensure seamless coordination
• Drive success measurement through the implementation of metrics and KPIs
• Provide CAD system administration and SolidWorks setup guidance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 8 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering Design within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with SolidWorks is required
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to take initiative and be resourceful in a professional setting

• Master’s degree in Engineering
