Sustaining Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline technical support for fluid transfer products manufactured in Hamilton, OH.
• Perform forensic examinations of products to identify root causes of performance issues and propose corrective actions.
• Manage the engineering change process, including updating bills of material, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Monitor regulatory changes and lead efforts to incorporate updates into production processes and electronic systems.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to implement product enhancements and productivity improvements.
• Assist design engineering with the transfer of new products from development to the manufacturing floor.
• Support quality audits to ensure compliance with AAR certification requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
• 3–5+ years of experience in sustaining engineering, manufacturing support, or product engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software (Creo and Windchill preferred).
• Experience with engineering change processes and ERP systems (managing item masters and BOMs).
• Proven ability to lead root cause analysis investigations.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing facility working with fluid handling equipment (valves, connectors, swivels).
• Strong data-driven problem-solving background.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AAR standards.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
