About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide frontline technical support for fluid transfer products manufactured in Hamilton, OH.
- Perform forensic examinations of products to identify root causes of performance issues and propose corrective actions.
- Manage the engineering change process, including updating bills of material, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Monitor regulatory changes and lead efforts to incorporate updates into production processes and electronic systems.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to implement product enhancements and productivity improvements.
- Assist design engineering with the transfer of new products from development to the manufacturing floor.
- Support quality audits to ensure compliance with AAR certification requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
- 3–5+ years of experience in sustaining engineering, manufacturing support, or product engineering.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software (Creo and Windchill preferred).
- Experience with engineering change processes and ERP systems (managing item masters and BOMs).
- Proven ability to lead root cause analysis investigations.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing facility working with fluid handling equipment (valves, connectors, swivels).
- Strong data-driven problem-solving background.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AAR standards.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
